Etching

Photochemical etching is a highly precise and versatile manufacturing process that Croom Medical utilises to produce custom metal parts and components. The process involves selectively removing metal from a sheet or foil using a chemical reaction with a photoresist mask. This allows us to create intricate and precise geometries, without the need for costly tooling or extensive machining. Our team of experienced engineers and technicians use the latest equipment and processes to ensure consistent and high-quality results. With photochemical etching, we can provide our customers with custom parts that are highly precise, cost-effective, and produced with minimal waste.

Castings & forgings

Croom Medical has strong relationships with a number of casting and forging companies who manufacture the raw materials used in our orthopedic implant solutions. We work closely with these companies to ensure that their processes align with our rigorous quality standards and regulatory requirements. Our team of experts conducts regular audits and inspections of our suppliers’ facilities to ensure that they maintain the highest levels of quality and consistency. These partnerships allow us to have a reliable supply chain for the raw materials needed to manufacture our products, ensuring that we can meet our customers’ needs for high-quality orthopedic implant solutions.
